About OrbitEd
The Vision
Education is entering a new gravitational pull. As Artificial Intelligence redefines how we work, learn, and communicate, schools face a critical challenge: how to integrate these tools without losing the human element that makes teaching transformative.
OrbitEd was founded to provide a 360-degree strategic response to this shift. We don't just look at the software; we look at the entire ecosystem of a school.
The Three-Orbit Framework
Our approach is built on the belief that for EdTech to be successful, it must align three distinct spheres:
The Staff Orbit: Moving beyond "efficiency" to true fluency. We help teachers use AI to reduce the administrative burden, allowing them to return to the heart of their profession: inspiring students.
The Student Orbit: Moving beyond "prompting" to critical thinking. We equip learners with Socratic skills and ethical frameworks, ensuring they are masters of the technology, not just users of it.
The Family Orbit: The missing link in most EdTech strategies. We work with parents and carers to demystify AI, closing the home-school gap and ensuring safety and support continue beyond the school gates.
Rooted in Experience
OrbitEd isn’t built in a vacuum. It is born from active leadership within the UK Multi-Academy Trust sector. We understand the specific pressures of the English education system - from budgetary constraints and Ofsted frameworks to the deep commitment to safeguarding and community values.
We don't offer generic tech solutions; we offer a bespoke model for a sustainable, AI-integrated educational future.
The Future
I am currently developing these frameworks through active pilot projects and research within the Trust sector. OrbitEd is a living project, evolving alongside the very technology it seeks to master.
